Apple Watch Support & Help

Apple Watch Not Working Right?
Start Here.

If your Apple Watch isn’t syncing, charging, tracking correctly or holding charge — don’t worry. We’ve created dedicated support guides to help you get it back on your wrist and working as it should.

These guides are ideal for refurbished Apple Watches and cover common fixes grouped by issue — so you can find what you need fast.

🔋 Battery & Charging Issues

My Apple Watch Battery Doesn’t Last Long

Check Battery Usage
Open the Watch app on your iPhone and go to Settings > Battery to see which features are using the most power.

Turn Off Always-On Display
Go to Settings > Display & Brightness and disable “Always On” to extend battery life.

Reduce Notifications
Too many alerts can drain power. In the Watch app, go to Notifications and limit what gets pushed to your Watch.

Enable Power Saving Mode
Swipe up on the watch face, tap the battery percentage, and activate Low Power Mode.

Still Draining Fast?
Battery wear may be the issue — especially on older or refurbished models. Contact us to check it out.

My Apple Watch Won’t Charge

Check the Charger
Use the original Apple magnetic charger or a certified equivalent. Try another charger or power source if you can.

Inspect the Back of the Watch
Clean the back of the Watch and the charger surface with a soft, dry cloth. Dirt or residue can interrupt charging.

Position the Watch Properly
Make sure it sits flat and aligned with the magnetic charging disc — you should feel it “snap” into place.

Force Restart the Watch
Hold both the Side Button and Digital Crown until you see the Apple logo.

Still Not Charging?
There could be a hardware fault with the battery or charging coil. Reach out for help.

My Apple Watch Gets Hot While Charging

Remove the Watch Case (if using one)
Some third-party cases can interfere with heat dissipation — remove it before charging.

Avoid Heat Sources
Don’t charge your Watch near radiators, on heated surfaces or in direct sunlight.

Check the Charging Environment
Charge in a well-ventilated space and avoid stacking the Watch on top of other devices while charging.

Use Genuine Chargers Only
Cheap or unregulated chargers can overheat the device or damage the battery.

Still Overheating?
Let the Watch cool down and try again. If it continues, we can inspect it for faults.

📶 Bluetooth, Sync & Connectivity Problems

My Apple Watch Won’t Pair With My iPhone

Turn Bluetooth Off and On
On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and toggle it off and back on.

Restart Both Devices
Turn off your Apple Watch and iPhone, then power them back on and try pairing again.

Update iOS and watchOS
Outdated software can cause pairing issues. Make sure both your iPhone and Watch are fully updated.

Reset the Watch if Needed
On the Watch, go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings and try pairing again.

Still Not Pairing?
There may be a hardware or software issue. Get in touch and we’ll help sort it.

My Apple Watch Isn’t Syncing Properly

Check Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
Both need to be active on your iPhone for syncing to work smoothly. Toggle them off and back on.

Keep Devices Close
Stay within a few feet of your iPhone to maintain a strong connection.

Restart Both Devices
Rebooting often resolves short-term sync issues.

Update Both Devices
Make sure iOS and watchOS are up to date to ensure compatibility.

Still Not Syncing?
We can help diagnose the problem — especially if it’s happening repeatedly.

My Apple Watch Disconnects Randomly

Check for Interference
Walls, large metal objects, or other wireless devices can interrupt signal. Try staying in an open area.

Ensure Bluetooth Is On
If Bluetooth is off on your iPhone, your Watch may lose connection unexpectedly.

Reset Network Settings on iPhone
Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Update Your Software
Bug fixes for disconnection issues are often included in updates.

Still Disconnecting?
If it keeps happening, there could be a fault in the Watch’s antenna or connection chip. Reach out and we’ll help.

📱 Screen, Touch & Display Issues

My Apple Watch Screen Isn’t Responding to Touch

Clean the Screen
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the display. Dirt, moisture, or smudges can affect touch response.

Remove the Case or Screen Protector
Some protectors or bumpers can interfere with the screen’s touch sensitivity.

Restart the Watch
Hold the Side Button, then drag the power slider. Turn it back on after a few seconds.

Force Restart if Needed
Hold both the Side Button and Digital Crown until the Apple logo appears.

Still Not Responding?
It may be a screen or digitiser issue. Contact us for assessment or repair.

The Screen Is Flickering or Flashing

Restart the Watch
Temporary software bugs can cause display flicker — a reboot usually resolves it.

Turn Off Always-On Display
Go to Settings > Display & Brightness and try disabling “Always On” to test for improvement.

Lower Brightness
Sometimes, flickering is tied to high brightness settings. Reduce it in Display settings.

Update watchOS
Bug fixes related to display issues are often included in system updates.

Still Flickering?
It may be a hardware fault with the display — we’re happy to take a look.

My Apple Watch Screen Is Cracked

Check Touch Functionality
If the screen still responds to touch, you can continue using it — but avoid putting pressure on it.

Back Up Your Data
A cracked screen can suddenly fail. Back up via your iPhone to avoid losing anything important.

Avoid Moisture and Dust
Keep the Watch dry and clean until repaired. A crack can allow debris inside the device.

Book a Repair
Screen damage isn’t covered under warranty, but we offer fast and affordable replacement options. Contact us to arrange a repair.

🧭 Activity & Tracking Problems

My Apple Watch Isn’t Tracking Steps or Activity

Check Wrist Detection
Go to Settings > Passcode on your Watch and make sure “Wrist Detection” is turned on. Without it, tracking may be limited.

Wear It Snugly
A loose band can affect the accuracy of movement and heart rate tracking.

Open the Activity App
Make sure your daily Move, Exercise, and Stand goals are set correctly and that you’re signed into your iCloud account.

Restart the Watch
A simple reboot can resolve syncing or sensor glitches.

Still Not Tracking?
There may be a sensor issue. Contact us and we’ll help diagnose it.

My Heart Rate Readings Are Missing or Inaccurate

Clean the Underside of the Watch
Make sure the sensors on the back are clean and not obstructed by sweat, dirt, or lotion.

Wear the Watch Correctly
It should sit flat against your skin — not too loose, and not too tight.

Check Heart Rate Settings
Open the Watch app on your iPhone, go to Privacy > Health and ensure heart rate tracking is enabled.

Restart Your Watch
Temporary glitches in tracking can often be fixed with a quick reboot.

Still Seeing Inaccurate Data?
We can help check if the sensors are working as they should.

Workout Tracking Isn’t Accurate

Enable Location Services
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services on your iPhone and ensure it’s on for the Workout and Fitness apps.

Update Your Personal Data
In the Health app, make sure your age, weight, and height are correct — this helps calibrate workout data.

Calibrate Your Watch
Go for a 20-minute outdoor walk or run in an open space to help the Watch learn your stride.

Avoid Using Power Saving Mode
It turns off some sensors during workouts. Check under Settings > Workout on the Watch.

Still Having Issues?
If your Watch continues to mistrack workouts, get in touch and we’ll investigate.

⚙️ Performance, Updates & Glitches

My Apple Watch Feels Slow or Laggy

Close Background Apps
Press the Side Button and swipe away any apps you’re not using.

Restart the Watch
Hold the Side Button, then slide to power off. Turn it back on after a few seconds.

Update watchOS
Go to the Watch app on your iPhone, then General > Software Update to install the latest version.

Reduce Motion and Animations
In Settings > Accessibility > Reduce Motion, enable this setting to simplify visuals and improve speed.

Still Slow?
It may be a hardware limitation on older models — contact us and we’ll help assess it.

Apps Keep Freezing or Crashing

Force Close the App
Open the app switcher and swipe the problematic app away, then reopen it.

Update the App
Open the App Store on your Watch or iPhone and check for available updates.

Restart Your Watch
A reboot can clear temporary app issues.

Delete and Reinstall the App
Uninstall the app from the Watch and reinstall it from the App Store.

Still Crashing?
It may be a deeper software issue. Let us help troubleshoot further.

My Watch Froze or Won’t Respond

Force Restart the Watch
Hold both the Digital Crown and Side Button until you see the Apple logo.

Check for Software Updates
Make sure both your iPhone and Watch are updated to the latest versions.

Unpair and Re-Pair
In the Watch app on your iPhone, unpair the device, then set it up again. This can resolve persistent glitches.

Still Frozen?
There could be a system or logic board issue. We can take a closer look and advise on next steps.

watchOS Update Won’t Install

Check Battery and Charger
Your Watch must have at least 50% battery and be on the charger to update.

Keep Your iPhone Nearby
The Watch needs to stay connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi throughout the update.

Restart Both Devices
Reboot your iPhone and Watch, then try the update again.

Check Storage Space
Free up space on your Watch by deleting unused apps or media.

Still Not Updating?
We’re happy to help get your Watch updated manually or check for issues.
